Extremely soft underfoot with all the benefits of nylon–and it’s environmentally friendly! Triexta is a newer, durable carpet fibre made in part from renewable resources that’s a pleasure to walk on, stain and soil resistant, and comes in an extensive range of colours and styles.

Godfrey Hirst Carpets has combined innovative carpet manufacturing with breakthrough polymer technology from DuPont™ to develop eco+® Soft to Touch™, the next generation in carpet.

Made from natural corn sugar, the Sorona® polymer in eco+® Soft to Touch™ places less reliance on non-renewable resources and generates less greenhouse gases to produce than nylon.*
The Sorona polymer is made by unlocking and harnessing the solar energy stored within corn and separating naturally occurring compounds. The natural sugar component is then used to create the unique monomer that is joined with others to form the DuPont™ Sorona® polymer.
*Greenhouse gas emissions from the production of Sorona® are 63% lower than nylon 6 (CISO standard 14040).
